1. If you find it on clearance, you can't afford not to buy it (just think how much money you are saving!).

2. One-stop shopping -- if it can't be found at your favorite superstore (ours is Target, or your favorite grocery store (ours is Publix), with rare and special exception, it ain't coming home.

3. One of those "rare and special" exceptions is online shopping, where comparison shopping is as easy as a few clicks, and anything goes! (In fact, if WebVan was still delivering, the Rebel Housewives would never leave the neighborhood!)

4. Time is of the essence (related to one-stop shopping) -- in a busy household, there is little time for coupon clipping, much less keeping them organized and remembering to use them when you are at the check-out, especially if the kids are screaming, running around, and grabbing at all the impulse items. There just isn't time anymore to run all over town shopping the best deals and prices. However--

5. Family Values -- we are all on a budget. While we don't have time for the coupons or the run-around, we are value-conscious shoppers. In this one area, you might see some difference between Sherri and Vicki--Vic will spend a little more for quality and investment in something she will have for a long time; Sherri prefers quantity over quality--if she spends less and inevitably gets tired of something, it bothers her less to donate it to charity and buy something new!
