TGIF! The end of a long week, but hey--no hurricanes! Tonight was a fun, drive-time interview with Bill Heywood on KFNN Financial News Radio - "Radio That Makes You Money!"
I got a little worried before the interview, when I researched the station to see who I would be talking to--I don't know anything about money or finance. We made it all...and then lost it all (and then some!) with the burst of the Technology Bubble in 2000. Four years later, we're still digging out...
Fortunately, I didn't have to go financial--the producer assured me we were just going to have fun for the Phoenix afternoon drive home, and we did. Good interview.
A 'cool' thing about doing call-in radio interviews--actually, they (the producer) usually call you (the guest), and hook you in a few minutes early so you get to listen to the show leading into your segment--usually ads, news brief, weather and/or traffic, and then you get to hear your own intro.
An even COOLER thing about KFNN is that I heard the lead-in for the next interview--and it was Troy McClain from THE APPRENTICE, Season One!!! Right after me, The Rebel Housewife--can you believe it? Good company, or what?! Did you watch The Apprentice? Was Troy not the CUTEST??? I LOVED him! I was so excited about him following me on-air, and wanting to hear his interview, that the producer hooked me in to be able to listen live online. Troy will probably never know (and really, that's okay), but The Rebel Housewife was there--I warmed up the guest 'seat' for him! (I know...I really need a life!)
