The Literary Guild - Exciting News!

I may have mentioned this before, but I am so excited I can't stand it: The Rebel Housewife Rules: To Heck With Domestic Bliss! is a featured selection--NEW!--in The Literary Guild Holiday 2004 Catalog...and it's available in Exclusive Hardcover to Literary Guild Members (all 10 MILLION of 'em, bless their hearts)!!!
The Literary Guild offers a number of book-of-the-month clubs, and it's HUGE! It's like Columbia House or BMG music clubs: You get 5 Books for $2, plus one FREE!, when you join, and agree to purchase 4 more books over 2 years. Lots of special offers, and you can respond to the monthly feature online, so none of those postcards! It's a great deal--and you, too, could have your very own hardcover edition of The Rebel Housewife Rules!
I have to confess: I stalk (s-t-a-l-k) my own book. I mean, when I'm at the bookstore (any bookstore)...I go visit it. (There were only 2 copies left at Borders Buckhead the other day!) I keep looking for it in the book section at Target, but no luck yet. Everytime I pick up a magazine, no matter what it is, I turn to the book reviews first. So, of course, when I got my new Literary Guild catalog...
I knew about the big sale to The Literary Guild (TLG), and their exclusive hardcover edition, and I joined TLG just so I could see it in the catalog and order a hardcover edition of The Rebel Housewife Rules for my very own. (No, apparently, I have no clout or freebies as an author with TLG! ;-)
I was looking through the new catalog last night, not expecting to see it because I thought it was beginning in January (still, hoping!)...and I turned to page 29 (okay, so we're not on the front cover...yet!)...page 29 is actually the last page...and THERE IT IS! A full half-page, in pink, with the cover of The Rebel Housewife Rules! In hardcover!!! Russ nearly jumped out of his skin when I screamed and started jumping around, flailing a catalog in his face:
"A Christmas wish item?"
"NO--The Rebel Housewife Rules! It's in here!!"
