CAMP MOMMY: Day 3 - Abandoning Schedule

Today was actually a very good day, quite successful, probably because I've given up all hope of Daily Accomplishments or an organized schedule. Day 3. I know. We have a day-camp next week (6yo son T), so maybe that will get us back on track.

Still, we got out with the dog this morning, and walked our 10,000+ steps throughout the course of our day. We drove up to Dahlonega to pick son Z up from G'Ma & G'Pa's. He had a great time. He was ready to come home -- the chaos he knows, I guess. And his own bed, his own pillow. The other two missed him. I have a hard time believing the "missing Z" drama was sincere, but they have all been getting along very well this evening. Until daughter H's friend came over after dinner. Interesting phenomenon, 10yo girls and their friends when an older brother is on the scene. Lots of giggling and silliness. Daughter H went to sleep over at friend's house. (Friend is an only child!) Friend is going to spend the day with us tomorrow, so it will be very low-key with my 3, plus 1.

Tomorrow is Friday, and the start of a Big Weekend in Midtown Atlanta, with the VA-Hi Summerfest, which is Big Fun.

On a final note: Don't buy the Desert Pepper drink buckets from Linens-N-Things...they (suck). I can personally vouch for On The Border Margarita/Daiquiri Buckets: YUM. See there, I sacrifice myself, testing these things, so you don't have to.

Have a great weekend!
