I honestly didn't know peanut allergies were such a hot topic, and I am amazed at the response we have received to yesterday's blog, Peanut Free Zone? (See Comments)

As always, Rebel Housewife readers are informative and helpful, with all kinds of great ideas and suggestions:

Jill suggests: "AP might enjoy almond butter, soy nut butter, or sunflower butter. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are great places to look for both." and two websites:
www.allergizer.com: More alternatives to peanut butter and
www.enjoylifefoods.com: gluten-free & allergen-free snacks & foods

Holly suggests: "How 'bout whole wheat pita with hummus? (My staple when we're all out of deli meat.) I take it he's not a fan of deli meat? Or if he's okay with that, we try to mix it up with type of bread...flatbread, bagels, pita, etc. Or do cold cuts ... just the meat & cheese with selection of wheat crackers, fruit, and drink."

The director of The 504 School suggests:
"Dinner! From the night before, leftovers and re-heats."

Stay tuned for more great snack suggestions for CAMP MOMMY, not a peanut amongst them!
