This is a Discovery Toys® MARBLEWORKS Deluxe Set -- it is AWESOME:

A while back, for a short time, I was a Discovery Toys® rep. I didn't focus on it for long because that's about the time The Rebel Housewife Rules sold to Conari Press and it all began here...but I ended up with some GREAT toys and books, which my kids, and all their friends, enjoyed for years.

Hands down, the most popular toy was MARBLEWORKS, which survived and out-lasted all other toys until two years ago, when we moved to the condo and so drastically down-sized, to fit into 1700 square feet, that I don't even remember what happened to the Marbleworks, whether it was given away, passed along, thrown away, sold...maybe even left in the storage bench/window seat in that house on Virginia Ave.

The kids missed the Marbleworks, but we really didn't have room for the 50+ piece set of plastic pieces, tubes, tracks and roly-poly marbles.

Marbleworks was re-discovered when 8yo ADHD Phenom (AP) went to ADHD Summer FUN Camp in June and, lo and behold, in a plastic bin way back on the shelf was a whole set, which he then completely monopolized and had a hard time leaving in the afternoon -- that's the day I came home and ordered a new one for his birthday (July 4th).

He was absolutely THRILLED when the package arrived today -- "The BEST (birthday gift) EVER!" (Never mind the fact that we took him to Cocoa Beach, SeaWorld, Aquatica and Daytona International Speedway for his big birthday weekend!) The Marbletrack instantly became da bomb, for AP and his 13yo brother & 11yo sister, too. They played together, nicely -- no fighting! -- all afternoon. The best thing about all those pieces is that they easily pull apart and can be reconfigured endlessly, it's a whole new toy every time.

That is, indeed, THE BEST TOY EVER!!
