Day 2 - Low-Key Plan

Day 2, and we've already learned a valuable lesson: You can only GO so much. After the busy day yesterday, staying downtown until 9pm, we were ready for some easy stay-at-home stuff today. Haleigh spent the night at her friend's house, and we haven't heard from her yet today. The boys have been playing Beyblade all morning, while we waited for the Heating & Air guy to check out the HVAC, to make sure we're ready for the long, hot summer ahead...I got started on the laundry--how's that for summer excitement?! It has been nice and low-key.

We got the call from Zach's friend, who is BORED. We are going to pick him up in a little bit and head out for an afternoon of adventure:

  1. Lucky kids, errands with Mom! Quick run by the post office.
  2. The Library trip we never got to yesterday.
  3. Toys R Us - The kids have decided to blow half the budget this week on a motorized water toy jet ski. We'll see how long that lasts, with four kids all over it!
  4. Late afternoon at Grammy's pool, with the toy jet ski. Grammy lives in an apartment, so we can enjoy the resort-quality pool FREE and there are not a lot of people there during the day. Packing a picnic lunch and drinks/snacks in the cooler.
