PeaceLoveMom.com - Great Gifts for Mom

It's my birthday: October 27 (1967) - the magical #42 today. Happy Birthday to ME, as I take a minute to blog a product review and indulge - on my birthday! - with a product purchase from http://www.PeaceLoveMom.com...

Being a (youngish) fortysomething wild woman, wife and mother of three, including a teenager now, I tend to be more careful about chest advertising -- what I put out there for the world (and my kids) to see. Generally, I'm not a fan about people reading my boobs before they look me in the eye, but exceptions are made for my personal interests and convictions...NASCAR...BAD WITCH/GOOD WITCH (for Halloween)...various causes and events, including my team shirts for the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society LIGHT THE NIGHT Walk in Atlanta...I think that's pretty much it, until now.

Now I've got PeaceLoveMom on my chest, with pride -- I love, Love, LOVE PLM tshirt and gift designs. They sent me PINK in October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness: Harmony Mom - Pink Burn Out Vneck Tee and Happy Mom Cranberry Comfy Thermal. [Click the links for pictures & product descriptions - and no, that is not me!]

I've been wearing PLM all month (freshly-washed each time, thank you), including on the Light The Night Walk - Harmony Mom makes me happy and shares a wonderful message within the oh-so-trendy "tramp stamp" motif, while my Happy Mom cozy thermal is perfect for cooler weather: warm, snuggly and BRIGHT. And that's exactly how I feel and what I am.

One note about this whole "burn out" tee thing, though: I don't get it!
How does one wear these pre-faded, extremely-thin-in-places, see-thru shirts without looking like a motorcycle hooker? And yes, on occasion, that's a perfectly fine look. It's kind of cool that you can SEE my actual tramp stamp back tattoo through the shirt, and normally that's only displayed selectively (swimsuits)...

Obviously, I still need to find the right thing to wear under the burn-out -- a tee shirt bra didn't seem to be quite enough, and really, I'm no prude! But layering can be a challenge without coming off too bulky or too wrinkly, too short in length or too tight. I just don't have the hang of it yet. At this point, I prefer the solidity of a regular tshirt not to have to worry about it.

And so I'm going to place my birthday order today: PeaceLoveMom Black Cotton Twill Hat and...doh!* Ummmm, all right: Peace Love Mom Black Soft Tee in the FabuLess Find Tees section.

[*Note: If you see something you like in that FabuLess Find Tees section, you better grab it up! As I discovered, it may be all out the next time you go look for it - hot, hot, hot! I was looking for Peace Sign Dot Black Vneck Soft Tee - I don't even think that was in the FabuLess Find section, so wherever you see something you like, buy it now!]

In the interest of disclosure, which I really don't have to do until December 1st, apparently, under new FTC rules, but what the heck: PeaceLoveMom sent me the pink tees for Rebel Review -- and now I'm going shopping, because they are that cute and well-made and fun, perfect (and a perfect gift!) for Moms.

Spread the message. Share the love:
