HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006!!!

It's the 10th of January, yet I feel as if I'm just getting started on this new year. If, like mine, your kids didn't go back to school until yesterday (and what's up with that?!), you probably feel the same way. (Not that I didn't enjoy winter break with the kids home!) So this week, we are taking it slow and easy, as much as possible...
The holidays were wonderful -- not that anyone but you-all would know it, because I still haven't sent out Christmas Cards or letters (now New Year's Greetings, of course). I know I'm not the only one. And it's okay. We've got to start the New Year's To Do List with something already way past deadline.
Instead of guilt -- which, by the way, is The First New Year's Resolution for 2006:
NO MORE GUILT, REBELS
So instead of guilt, which is no longer allowed, think about and celebrate all that you did accomplish during the typical chaos and merriment of the 2005 Holidaze Season -- whatever it was.
The holidays were wonderful, and I really enjoyed the time with my kids and husband, family and friends. Sometimes what everybody tells you is true -- sometimes! -- I kind of do miss the kids now that they are all in school all day, everyday.
But it's not like I don't have stuff to do. After all, it's less than THREE MONTHS until they are home again on Spring Break!
