Summer Survival Tip #1 - Play School

I discovered this handy tip today, while I was cleaning out and sorting through three backpacks and two large bags of paper, artwork, books, trash, and school supplies that came home on the last day of school...

Save out the half-used workbooks -- Math, Spelling, Science, Social Studies, etc. -- and let the kids use them to play School, with a big whiteboard & pens. We had a willing class of Webkinz stuffed animals in attendance today (and the kids didn't even realize they were learning and practicing their skills, too!).

Keep it simple -- you'll save a ton of money on summer bridge activities, materials and workbooks.
