Thank you all so much for your participation and enthusiasm for
The Rebel Housewife Mom's New Year/Jane Porter Book CONTEST!

It is clear from the response that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of Rebels out there, eager to ease on in to Mom's New Year with some great Back to School reading for MOM.

I am pleased to announce the winner, drawn at random from all of the email entries:
Christie L. of Westport, CT

Congrats again, Christie -- I hope you enjoy Jane Porter's ODD MOM OUT and the sequel, MRS. PERFECT. A fresh, new copy of each is on the way to you, courtesy of our friends at 5 Spot/Hachette Book Group USA (Thanks, Miriam!).

For everybody else, do not despair! We have more great book give-aways coming up SOON on RebelHousewife.com -- stay tuned!

Sheri,
you rock! I too live in Morningside and have a son at Morningside and a daughter at Inman. And yes, I have called myself a desperate Housewife.I am going to go out and get your book tomorrow. I recently decided to get out of the Mommy and Wife rut I was in and started my own business. I would love to contribute to your cause by maybe writing or blogging about my experiences along the way. Again, thanks for doing this and your efforts to bring the community together and stay connected.

Hi Annika,

Well, thank you for your email and comments! It's nice to hear from another Rebel in the neighborhood. ;-)

Before you run out to find the book tomorrow, I still have a few copies on hand from the Decatur Book Festival. I would be happy to hand-deliver a signed copy and meet you in person. We would probably recognize each other from school, but just have never met. I have one child at Morningside, in 3rd grade, and two at Inman, 6th & 8th. We walk to & from Morningside every day.

I'd love to know more about your business that got you "out of the rut" -- it's not so easy, is it, after being Mommy for so many years.

Thanks again for your email.
Live, Love & Laugh,
Sherri
