Face-to-Face w/A Reality TV STAR

I'm not sure if I've confessed before that I am a huge Reality TV junkie, although I am selective and limit this particular obsession to two shows, religiously recorded on TiVo: The Apprentice w/Donald Trump (not the domestic diva version with Martha Stewart -- I've had enough of that particular psychosis to last me a lifetime or several!).

What? Oh, and The Surreal Life, which I admit is low-brow brain candy, and I don't know why I am so fascinated. It's kind of like a train wreck, and actually the last season (Season Five) was almost painful to watch with fighting, feuding, and nastiness between The Apprentice (Season One) uber-evil self-obsessed Omarosa and self-proclaimed (again and again and again) "FIRST SUPERMODEL" and America's Next Top Model judge, Janice Dickinson...but I digress.

All of that is an aside, a prelude to tell you about my face-to-face with a REALITY TV STAR (in my opinion, anyway), Wes Moss, an Atlanta entrepreneur, Apprentice Season Two contestant, and now promising author, with STARTING FROM SCRATCH: Secrets From 21 Ordinary People Who Made the Entrepreneurial Leap.

Our interview was on assignment for Atlanta INTown, to appear in the January issue, so I don't want to scoop myself on that, but behind-the-scenes, I can tell you, this down-to-earth Reality TV alum is very nice, fun, interesting in conversation, intelligent -- and he's a hottie!

Okay, he's likely to read that, because he actually did his homework too, prior to our interview, and surprised (flattered) me with a reference to The Rebel Blog: Dear Hubby/Desperately Handsome. I'm not going to call him a hottie again (after this), because I don't want to leave the interview, the review, or the article on such a superficial note. (Still...)

I was skeptical about the book (see the review), but I really enjoyed it--I went from pleasantly surprised to genuinely impressed. Wes Moss, Atlanta Author, Speaker & Entrepreneur is charming, and he's going places -- making good use of his 'fifteen minutes' from The Apprentice. I don't think we'll ever see him on The Surreal Life, I hope, and that's a good thing -- he's busy being successful here in Atlanta.

Tell him The Rebel Housewife sent you! ;)
