WP Affair: Best Laid Plans

With 3 kids all in school now, I always think I’ve got so much time, a full day ahead to get EVERYTHING done. From 9am drop-off at the Middle School, to 3pm pick-up at the Elementary School...I should have 6 straight hours to work! More or less, and therein lies the rub -- not that I’m complaining; Life is good!
But still, after a quick stop at the grocery store after drop-off, to "pick up a few things..." $198 and an hour-and-a-half later, I am still unpacking groceries and re-organizing the kitchen. DH calls in the midst of this to tell me he needs me to come to his office for some meeting with the new health insurance guy, and then let's go to lunch!
This is all good, but still, there goes my whole day...
