Blog Affair: SquareSpace v. WordPress

If I've been distant lately, since my last post on March 1st [Judith Regan], it's because I've been, well...straying. I don't want to say cheating, exactly, but I've been thinking about it. I probably crossed the line on March 12th.

On April 10th, I got caught. My associate of almost three years was confused, totally caught off guard, discovering me where maybe I shouldn't have been, but he was direct, supportive, honest. He called me out, and brought me back.

We're still making up, working on our blogging relationship here on Squarespace.com -- communication is key. I thought I had to go somewhere else to find what I was looking for, and it was right here all along. Over the next week, I'll transfer relevant posts from my time away on Wordpress.com back here. I am not sure if the Feedburner feed will pick up the back-dated posts, so we'll see how it goes...

Moving forward, exciting changes & updates coming...

Welcome back. :)

In regards to your feed, Feedburner should publish any new posts and mark them as unread in a subscriber's feeder, regardless of the date. I'm 99.9% sure on this -- it may not be instant though as Feedburner only pings your site every half hour.

Hope this helps!

Hi Krystyn, Thanks! Thanks for the info re: Feedburner (love their email service). As of noon, I haven't got the update email from FB...oh, but I've had some problems with email service recently and probably got knocked off my own FB subscription...have to go check that. Thanks again, happy to be home. Sherri
