Journaling Through The Grief Journey

Sudden grief, such as the death of a family member or a good friend, can be overwhelming and disorienting, hard to manage, difficult to recover and carry on.

(It doesn't help when your computer dies, too, just days after your friend dies -- maybe it was my friend, telling me I spend WAY too much time on the computer?!)

Here is a very helpful article I found on http://FetchRex.com:

Sherri - also interesting in the grieving department is how other life events can cause it to come back over in a huge wave. My husbands father is in the hospital having just gone through a triple by-pass and I am watching my husbands grief over his mom's recent passing rear its ugly head. Or maybe not so ugly...grief wants to be dealt with and it'll come at you again and again until you do just that. And everyone does it differently so here's what comes to mind...'What a long strange trip its been' and continues to be. Carry on! Peace, Sue
